Chef Brad Wise brings vintage Las Vegas steak house vibes to Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone—with a modern sensibility. That means decadent seafood towers, cuts of dry-aged beef grilled in an exhibition kitchen, old school sauces like creamy horseradish and béarnaise, and sides like truffled creamed spinach. Not sure what to order? Try one of chef Wise’s meat boards—The Associate or The Executive—for shareable samplers of multiple cuts of beef with house-made sauces. Of particular note is the cocktail program, which lends drama to classics like the Manhattan, martini, and old-fashioned. Dinner is served Wednesday through Monday, and happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
