Located within The Landsby hotel in the heart of downtown Solvang, Mad & Vin (Danish for “food and wine”) is an elevated all-day dining spot with an on-site bar serving classic and craft cocktails, beer, and predominantly regional wines befitting its place in the Santa Ynez wine country. Executive chef Danny Millian brings his culinary experience from Firestone Grill and Alisal Ranch to fresh, wine-friendly dishes, such as Shrimp Caesar Salad with local Little Gem hearts; brined, free-range Roasted Chicken with bitter greens and chorizo mashed potatoes; and herb-crusted Rack of Lamb With Pomegranate Molasses and fig chutney. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday, with house-made Bloody Mary’s and Bellini flights.
