After 54 years in the northern Santa Barbara County town of Guadalupe, the restaurant owned by the Minetti family has relocated to a new, earthquake-safe building in the Santa Maria Valley. Cowhide banquettes, red-flocked wallpaper, and the original mahogany bar are part of the décor in the bar, which features regional beers and some wines on tap. Mounted animal heads hang in the dining room, where carnivores will also feel at home delving into the menu of veal sweetbreads, crispy mountain “oysters,” and oak-grilled filet mignon.
