A visit by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and the crew from Kitchen Nightmares has resulted in a new look and updated menu for this family-owned restaurant, open since 1994. The blue-and-white décor echoes the colors of the Greek flag, replicated on custom-built shutters that cover one window. Increasingly local ingredients shine in such dishes as the lemon-chicken orzo soup and Fisherman’s Catch, which pairs the daily fish with roasted cauliflower, potatoes, capers, hazelnuts, and dried fruit. Happy hour from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays is a good time to visit the patio bar, which overlooks the docks of Ventura Harbor.
