With an eclectic menu of comfort foods in a friendly, upscale setting, co-owner Danny Margolis, also of Command Performance Catering Group in Moorpark, welcomes area diners for date nights and family dinners out. A Wild Mushroom Flatbread appetizer is enhanced with caramelized onion, Manchego, truffle ranch sauce, arugula, and Calabrian chiles. A light entrée, Street Corn Agnolotti is a creamy mélange of corn, pasta, mascarpone, ricotta, cotija, and lime-chile seasoning. Heftier mains include the Tomahawk Pork Chop with roasted tomato fig sauce and carrot soufflé, and the Creamy Jalapeño Mac n’ Cheese Skillet served vegan-style or with buttermilk popcorn chicken. A late-night menu of mini poke tacos, pulled pork sliders, and Peruvian ceviche goes well with specialty cocktails, wine, and beer. The heated outdoor patio features a grass area where a converted shipping container serves as a second bar. A s’mores kit dessert is a fun option to enjoy around the outdoor firepit.
