Located a block from the beach, Spasso is flooded with sunset lighting every night of the week; sunset views depend on the location of your table. The dining room is furnished with dark wood tables and orange cloth napkins, creating a colorful setting in which to enjoy the house salad dressed in saba (a grape-must reduction) and house-made pastas in dishes like lasagna di carne and fettuccine with garbanzo beans and fresh tomatoes. The polenta-and-sausage dish is a don’t-miss. Same goes for the tiramisu, made on the premises using owner Francesco Cionti’s mother’s recipe.
